On the swings for the first time

Last weekend we had gorgeous weather in Calgary. Matthew, Anita and I took a walk and Anita went on the swings for the first time.

Anita had learned to get around on her own

I knew it was coming! To her great pleasure, Anita has figured out that if she rolls and rolls she can get to where she wants. To illustrate how quickly she can move I took a picture.

I left the room to grab a bottle which takes about 1 minute to warm up and bring back (maximum). I came back and she had rolled from the blanket on the floor to door. The only thing that stopped her going further is that she got stuck against the play pen.




What? I'm not up to anything, honest.

Anita Playing Videos

Anita has learned all kinds of interesting sounds but the most recent cracks me up. I call it her "fake cough". She is does a lot and if you watch this video you will see what I mean... especially at the end. Sorry the quality isn't great but I had to use the web cam as she clams up a soon as she sees the camera.




This video is of Anita and I playing so you can hear her laugh. She loves wathing hair move and grabbing hair. In this video I am shaking my head and she thinks it is quite funny. She is teething which is why she has the teething toy or her hand in her mouth in these videos. If you look closely you may see her two new teeth on the bottom.
