Here are some new photos of Andrew at 2 months (ish). He is now 14 lbs!!!! He is growing so fast that there are clothes he has never worn and has outgrown. Andrew is starting to say "goo" and "ga-ga" to those who will listen and he has a fantastic smile. Hopefully I will get both those things on camera soon.

On Dec 5th, we had a housewarming/christmas/birthday party at our house after the High River annual Christmas parade. It was LOADS of fun!! Anita was wide eyed during the parade and loved playing with Elizabeth & Aaron's kids, Ruby and Henry. Here are some pics from the night.

On the first day of snow here, the weather was beautiful and the snow was perfect for making a snowman. Here are some pictures of the snowman Anita and I built together....

Anita had a REALLY good time on Halloween this year. She dressed up as a kitty and went trick or treating with Mom. First to Grandma's house then we hit cousin Steve and Kathy's street. We hit the payload there. More chocolate than even Mom could eat. Anita was so cute. Each house we went to she tried to walk right in and make her self at home.
When we got back from trick or treating we had guests over. Her buddy Espen was there for a visit dressed as a karate kid. We all had a great time visting with Dee & Conrad. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
Here are some pictures....

Andrew has arrived! He was born on Wednesday at 8:30 in the morning. He weighed 7 lbs, 13 ounces. Upon arrival he screamed very loudly and then proceeded to pee all over the heating table in the operating room.
He is very content and happy baby who insists on being held as much as possible. He is eating VERY well so I suspect he is going to be outsizing his sister before long.
Matthew, Anita and I are doing really well. I am recovering from surgery, Matthew is getting used to the new sleep schedule (ie no sleep) and Anita is taking her older sister duties very seriously (ie informing me when the baby needs changing, is crying, is breathing, etc...).
Thanks for all your messages and well wishes while we were in the hospital. Here are some pictures of Andrew's first few days.

Wow it has been a while since I have posted anything. Sorry about that. I am back on maternity leave now awaiting the arrive of baby #2 due Sept 24th.
Anita's birthday just passed and she had loads of fun. Thank you for the cards/presents, well wishes, etc.... It really was a perfect day for her. Play all day, eat pizza and ice cream cake, and get some really cool presents. It was just Grandma & Grandpa Noad, Mom & Dad, and Auntie Colleen but that made it really quite nice as she wasn't over stimulated like last years party. Here is a slideshow of Anita's birthday.

Anita's first steps. We originally took this video to show Grandma and Grandpa Tait how she "walks" on her knees. She took the opportunity to actually start walking.
She REALLY liked Nico when he visited - all of the videos were showing off for him.
Also, wanted to mention that we did receive her birthday presents from Uncle John & Auntie Claire - the book is fantastic, really fun to read - and Grandma and Grandpa Tait - CUTE outfits and little people set. Thanks so much.
Miss you all lots. We are finally getting around to wedding planning so I am getting excited about you all coming to Canada for a visit.
Enjoy the videos:

Hi. First of all, here's Dad getting a smack in the mouth. Not the last time, I expect.
Having said that, I was very excited to meet my nanny, Nanny M (like 'M' from the Bond movies). The other little girl is my playmate' 'G', who handles all weapons and gadgets.
We start together Sept 1. Should be a right laugh!

To get a break from the heat wave last weekend in Calgary, it was 33 degrees celsius on Saturday, Matthew, Anita and I all went to Auntie Elaine's cabin for the weekend. It was perfect because not only did she get to play in the lake, more importantly she had playmates! My cousin Brad was there with his three kids; Levi, Baxter, and Abigail. The adults and kids had good bonding play time. :)
Here are some pictures but I uploaded more if you want to see them click here:

Matthew and Anita on the lakeside.
Anita, Brad and Abigail. Anita thought Abigail was great! She followed her around.
Anita gets TOO HOT and cools off by drinking melting water from the ice tray.

Hi Everyone! We are back from our trip to visit the family in England. I have uploaded a bunch of photos into two photo albums that can be viewed here:
North East England
North Wales
I am writing a longer post to follow this one but it is taking a while to do as I can only do it while Anita is asleep. She insists on using the keyboard if she sees me on it.
Cheers! B

I have been wanting to go visit the Zoo for awhile now so for Grandma Noad's birthday Anita and I took her to the Zoo.
Some of these are taken by Grandma Noad and some by me. I think Grandma's camera had a finger print on the lens for some of these but great photos anyway.
Anita was a bit tired today as she did not want to go down for a nap in the morning. She did have fun watching the other kids and enjoyed the walk.
Watching the kids play while we ate lunch.
At the Giraffes.
Flamingos! We decided to put real ones out for Grandma Noad (hehe).
Show off!
Beautiful Hawk.
Black bear having some lunch.
Bathing brown bear.
Meow. Wild Cat.
Baby monkeys like cardboard boxes too.
"I know there is a key under her somewhere."
I can't wait until Anita is older and can go on the train.
Anita's first taste of ice cream.
She LOVED it and cried when we finally had to take it away.

My first attempt at cutting hair. Not bad... some strange parts around the ears but all in all not bad. She looks a little boyish but it is better than the crazy before hair.

Another easter at Uncle Phil and Auntie Ellen's. Visiting was great. Food was delicious. The easter egg hunt... becoming legendary. Every year it is just so much fun seeing the the kids tear through the greenhouses piling the pails full of chocolate goodies. The easter bunny is always generous.
Our camera is on the blitz (again) but we did manage to get at least one photo.
Anita finds her first plastic easter egg to chew on. She is a little young for chocolate yet but Matthew and I managed to get some chocolate goodness for ourselves.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. Hugs and Kisses from Anita.

Yesterday Anita had her first taste of food (unless you count the time Matthew you gave her some mash potatoes and she made lost of gagging sounds and ucky faces).
She did really well eating up her rice cereal. She had approximately 10 very small spoonfuls. More than I expected for sure. This morning she was less attentive and only had 3 small spoonfuls.
The first picture I took yesterday caught her by surprise because of the flash. Matthew and I had a good laugh when we looked at this photo last night. She is going to hate me when she is older for posting this one. Hehe.
Ah... now here is the pretty happy baby....
Oh and I meant to post this earlier but I forgot until now. Anita had a playmate come over for a visit on Saturday night. Danielle and Conrad's son, Espen, came over to play. They were quite taken with each other but as time rolled on Anita got a little jealous. Especially in the evening when I was attempting to put them both down to sleep. on that note, I am SO glad I didn't have twins. I would get one down and in sleep mode and the other would give a holler or cry and they were both up again. I finally had to get Matthew to bring Anita downstairs until Epsen was asleep and then I was able to get her to sleep too.
Here is a picture of Anita and Espen playing:
